In 2013, four veterans of Big 4 accounting firms, shared a common goal: to offer valued customers more than just traditional accounting services. They sought to add more value to these solutions and help further empower businesses.
Their passion was validated when select VC and private equity clients, impressed by their vision, offered support for the founders’ mission by engaging FinAdvantage to help their M&A efforts and to support their portfolio companies’ accounting and operations needs. This trust from established investors and operators marked a pivotal moment in our growth.

His public accounting background includes roles as an Audit Partner and Advisor. Notably, at RSM, he led the Great Lakes Assurance Practice and served as Managing Partner for the Great Lakes Region.
Ramesh Murthy

Ramesh has worked for more than 25 years in Senior roles in reputed Pharma and Biotech companies in the US and India. In his previous roles, he was initially CFO of Specialty Product Group of Dr.Reddys Laboratories for more than 10 years and was VP and Head Business Development from 2019 till 2024, he lead the BD efforts in executing several BD out licensing, asset sale deals of more than $500M and was also instrumental in acquiring/ in –licensing innovative products. Previously he was CFO for Aurigene Oncology and VP and Head of finance for ReaMetrix.
Ramesh has extensive experience in Strategic and Operational finance functions in Biopharma and Biotech industries in both R&D and Commercial aspects. Worked on number of strategic projects on Revenue Accounting, Portfolio management, Cost optimization, M&A.
Ramesh is a Chartered Accountant, has completed AMP from Indian Institute of Management. Bangalore.
